What Happens In Vegas...

Who cares what happens in Vegas, it just doesn't matter.... if you have NOTHING to wear!  When my husband told me "WE'RE GOING TO VEGAS!" My response was "I HAVE TO GO SHOPPING!" Then, as usual, Branson rolled his eyes and said something along the lines of "right, because you have NO CLOTHES!"  EXACTLY my point!  However, since I've been "hitched" I do get this weird feeling in my stomach when I do buy something that i don't technically "need..."  This must be guilt!  SO! I gave my self a rule i could buy ONE thing under $40 (yes, $40,I laughed too) for our Vegas trip.  After many discarded inspiration boards this is what I ended with:

Obviously I was zeroed in on the yellow dress, so I had to find one under $40. (My Hervé Léger dress will have to come later in life!)  Thanks to the current trends, my dress wasn't too hard to find (thank you Forever 21)!  The hard part was forcing myself to shop my own closet for the rest of the weekend's get ups!  It's a good challenge, I suggest you try it!  

However the major conclusion I came to after spending the weekend gambling is:  You aren't going to win the JACKPOT as you planned, so go shopping & don't gamble!  At least then you have to something to show for your cash!

White heels are "it" for spring.  They were a hit on the runways, you'll spot them on all of your favorite celebs, and (if you're an avid online shopper like myself) you can't miss their very apparent presence on your favorite online sites.  Although fabulous, the white shoe is a very tricky accessory to pull off.  When shopping follow your gut, if you're worried the pair you're trying looks tacky or cheap, it probably does.  Don't be discouraged, try a different pair, maybe a with a different texture or material.  The right white is out there!  Wear the white pump like you would a nude one.  They pair great with pastels and you can't go wrong with the glamourous all-white look!  

Here are a few of my favorite pairs that I found while online browsing!  The pointy toe is definitely my pick, but if you're more of a peep toe, t-strap, or mary jane girl, go for it!
